Job Summary

A higher education company has a current position open for a Remote Higher Education Customer Support Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring required information is taken in regarding the ticket and use that information to prioritize the ticket
  • Tracking and responding to inbound communication of support issues from customer email, ticket system entry or phone
  • Using clear and professional communication to convey the status and nature of the issue

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • University degree in related field or relevant technical experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing technical/software support role
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exposure to Java
  • Working knowledge of database concepts and the ability to generate troubleshooting SQL queries
  • Working knowledge of accounting/finance concepts
