Job Summary
A higher education company has a current position open for a Remote Higher Education Customer Support Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring required information is taken in regarding the ticket and use that information to prioritize the ticket
- Tracking and responding to inbound communication of support issues from customer email, ticket system entry or phone
- Using clear and professional communication to convey the status and nature of the issue
Skills and Requirements Include:
- University degree in related field or relevant technical experience
- 1+ years of experience in a customer facing technical/software support role
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Exposure to Java
- Working knowledge of database concepts and the ability to generate troubleshooting SQL queries
- Working knowledge of accounting/finance concepts
