Remote HIM Coder III

Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote HIM Coder III.

Must be able to:

• Assigns the correct ICD-CM, PCS and CPT code to each diagnosis
• Accurately code both outpatient and inpatient record types
• Utilizes the 3M 360, CAC, Epic, and any other necessary applications for proper coding

Qualifications Include:

• Completion of a 2-year college or technical school curriculum in Health Information Management
• Demonstrated knowledge of current ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding
• 5 years of related medical coding experience in an acute care hospital setting
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CIC or COC
