Job Summary
A management and technology consulting firm has an open position for a Remote HL7 Onboarding Specialist in Atlanta .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help State Health Departments and HHS make informed decisions
- Mentoring teammates, design tools to address interoperability challenges, write code and develop solutions using interface engines
- Working closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle
Qualifications for this position include:
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience working with Health Level Seven (HL7) messaging standards versions 2.3.1, 2.5.1, or C-CDA
- Experience with Excel Macros and other data science tools, including R, SAS, and Python
- Experience with Public Health disease reporting requirements, disease surveillance, and laboratory terminology
- Experience in ensuring data integrity and accuracy of formatted data meets national and state standards for Disease Reporting
