A financial and banking institution has an open position for a Remote Home Equity Underwriter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure material information captured in the application is accurate at time of review
- Demonstrate sound judgment in the analysis of required documentation while mitigating organization risk
- Knowledge of all income sources, including the ability to interpret income tax returns
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years Mortgage or equity processing or junior underwriting experience in a lending institution
- Experience using Automated Underwriting Systems
- Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel
- Ability to analyze and evaluate complex income documentation
