Job Summary

A major financial and banking institution is filling a position for a Remote Home Equity Underwriter I.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Underwriting the basic product offerings for the business unit
• Ensuring material information captured in the application is accurate
• Proactively suggesting program alternatives within their product capabilities for customers

Qualifications for this position include:

• 2 years Mortgage or equity processing or junior underwriting experience in a lending institution
• Experience using Automated Underwriting Systems
• Desire to work in a production environment
• Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex income documentation
