Job Summary

A healthcare compliance company is filling a position for a Remote Home Health Auditor in Long Beach.

Must be able to:

• Abstract all modifiers and units from the medical record documentation
• Enter data into audit software
• Evaluate the overall quality of physician documentation for quality improvement measures

Position Requirements Include:

• CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA coding certification
• A minimum of five years’ experience required abstracting CPT, E & M, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes
• Advanced technical knowledge in specific surgical and medical specialties
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with data entry of codes into a database and/or software tool
• Experience with remote and/or face-to-face provider education
