Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Home Health Coder.

Must be able to:

• Abstract all E/M, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, units from the medical record documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of completed report to clients
• Enter time accurately and timely into our timekeeping system

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must have HCS-D Certification
• 2 years of experience abstracting CPT, E&M, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes from provider documentation
• Requires advanced technical knowledge in Home Health Coding
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and ability to research coding related questions
• Must have experience with Oasis and Epic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and EMR systems
