Job Summary
A full-service mortgage lender is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Home Loan Underwriter .
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan files submitted for borrowers
- Respond within SLA to all loan specific audits/findings
- Approve, counter, or deny loan file
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience.
- Experience working with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter
- Experience working with Freddie Mac Loan Prospector
- Knowledge of FHA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines
