Job Summary

A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Home Mortgage Underwriting Specialist in Irving.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Preforming pre-purchase underwriting risk reviews on designated loans
  • Assisting Underwriting Managers and Sr. Underwriter with additional tasks
  • Assisting with post-purchase underwriting risk reviews

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years mortgage experience in Processing, Quality Assurance, or Underwriting Reviews
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel
  • Knowledgeable of DU and LPA automated underwriting systems
  • Must be able to participate in video conferencing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
