Remote Hospice Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing and coordinating Room & Board (R&B) and General Inpatient (GIP) hospice invoicing and billing activities, the full-time Remote Hospice Ancillary Specialist will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices while collaborating with hospice agencies and corporate billing teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Review, update, and approve R&B and GIP invoicing
• Coordinate invoicing with hospice agencies and corporate billing teams
• Follow up on all payments and resolve billing discrepancies

Required qualifications:

• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid billing required
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
• Knowledge of hospice billing, invoicing, and Medicare hospice benefits preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience working with computers is required
