Job Summary
A business services provider for the home-healthcare and hospice industries is filling a position for a Remote Hospice Coding Manager.
Must be able to:
- Lead a team of healthcare coding and documentation specialists, team leaders, and offshore staff in a remote work / work-from-home environment for delivery of client services requiring ICD-10 coding and documentation review
- Communicate and coordinate closely with peers in quality, education, global operations, and sales/account management/client success teams
- Proactively identify and lead response to client concerns and escalate accordingly as required, coordinating with education, quality, and sales teams
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of recent hospice operational management experience
- Coding Credential (HCS-H or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Ability to monitor client deliverables to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Ability to develop and maintain necessary operating knowledge EMR systems utilized by various agencies
