Job Summary
A home health, personal, and hospice care provider is in need of a Remote Hospice Registered Nurse After Hours Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency in skills required by the agency for patient care
- Answer all incoming calls in a manner appropriate to the nature of the call
- Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors telephonically to determine hospice needs
Qualifications Include:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of residence
- One (1+) year of experience as a registered nurse
- Current CPR certification
- May possess either a single state license in each non-compact state and/or a compact license in their state of residence
- Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs
- Knowledge of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
