Job Summary
A home health, personal, and hospice care provider has an open position for a Remote Hospice Registered Nurse After Hours Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering all incoming calls in a manner appropriate to the nature of the call
- Assessing physical, environmental, and emotional factors telephonically
- Utilizing EHR, including the patient’s plan of care, to develop recommendations
Qualifications Include:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of residence
- One (1+) year of experience as a registered nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs
- Knowledge of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients/caregivers
- Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer
