Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Hospital Coding Outpatient Supervisor.

Must be able to:

• Monitor daily work queues to ensure timely coding of outpatient accounts
• Track and provide feedback to the coding team regarding coder productivity
• Manage the software applications and hardware requirements

Qualifications Include:

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in integrated acute care hospital coding
• Experience in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems, G-codes, HCPCS codes, CPT modifiers and APC
• Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office or similar applications
• CCS certification, or RHIA registration, or RHIT registration issued by AHIMA
