Job Summary
A professional services firm is in need of a Remote Hospital Inpatient Medical Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assure that all services documented in the patient’s chart are coded with appropriate ICD-10/PCS codes
- Achieve and maintain 95% accuracy in coding while maintaining a high level of productivity
- Work pending queues daily
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years previous experience coding Inpatient records
- 3-5 years ICD-10 and PCS coding experience
- Must be hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC
- Must have minimum three years of coding experience
- Abide by all client policies and procedures
- Abide by all Navigant policies and procedures
