Job Summary

A technology consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Hospital Outpatient Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results as appropriate to extract data
• Applying appropriate ICD 10 Diagnosis and Procedure codes
• Accurately coding conditions and procedures in accordance with guidelines

Qualifications Include:

• Some work related travel may be required
• Must be AAPC or AHIMA certified
• Must hold one or more of the following certifications: CPC, CCS- P, CCS RHIT, RHIA
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of profdessional medical coding experience
