Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Hospital Outpatient Surgery Coder in Columbus.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assigning ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes
• Ensuring optimal reimbursement of all cases
• Implementing medical center’s physician query process

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H or have a preferred 2 years relevant coding experience
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals
• Computer proficiency
• Must be at least 18 years of age
