Job Summary
A nonprofit company has a current position open for a Remote Housing and Civic Engagement Fellowship Coordinator .
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Engage 20-40 nonprofit organizations in engaging the people they serve in voter registration and pledges to vote
- Engage people with lived experience of poverty, housing instability, and / or homelessness in the policy and program decisions
- Coordinate in-district advocacy meetings and state and federal days of action and advocacy
Qualifications for this position include:
- A valid driver's License and a willingness to travel 3-4 nights a month
- Ability to set priorities and work autonomously
- Good problem solving skills, ability to adjust to changes and unexpected obstacles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
