Job Summary

General Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist/Business Partner is a hands-on role responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. The role is critical in executing our HR & Employee Experience initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & HR Business Partnership
Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Provide HR policy guidance
Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
Identify training needs for teams and individuals
Evaluate training programs
Partner with managers and other HR staff to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Conduct internal investigations and prepare all required documentation when issues are escalated to human resources.
Maintains electronic HR files and provides event planning, and employee relations activities that foster our values and culture.

Talent Management
Partner with the Director of Employee Success and SVP of People to develop, manage, and administrator continuous feedback system across all departments of the organization
Administration of performance management program including reporting, analysis, tracking, etc.
Participate in training development and facilitation of training programs
Administration of the Quarterly Review Process
Assist in the management of the learning management software (LMS)

Diversity and Inclusion
Assist in development, plan, launch and measuring diversity and inclusion projects company-wide.
Assist in clearly communicating the business case for fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, building awareness and accountability for leadership including helping to build a culture of inclusion, increasing employee engagement and providing human capital analytics that drive better talent decisions.
Assist in the development and execution of innovative ways to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent at eXp Realty.
Assist in establishing a D&I reporting strategy and defining measurement standards, analyzing a wide variety of data using diversity and inclusion tools and methodologies.
Assists in being a subject matter expert in a consultancy role, providing guidance as needed on sensitive diversity topics.
Skillfully advises on and resolves complex issues in concert with legal, human resources and company leaders
Exercises professional skill and subject matter knowledge to write presentations, executive talking points, articles and promotional materials about the company's diversity efforts
Represents the company on diversity-related topics at conferences, professional associations and business meetings
Partners with Talent Acquisition team to identify and attract diverse candidates and opportunities to increase eXp Realty's employer brand in diverse communities, such as colleges and universities, professional associations, chambers of commerce, and community organizations that supports company recruiting goals

Employee Recognition
Assist in the design, management, and support of eXp Realty's enterprise-wide recognition system and tools.
Serves as a consultant to the company on recognition principles and best practices; create program templates to be used for local initiatives; maintain informal recognition resources online.
Develop and execute a comprehensive formal communication plan for each recognition program. Create and publish regular program news and updates online.
Assist in staff event planning as necessary.
Support for communication with award winners, obtaining testimonials from staff and working with the Marketing Department to come up with diverse ways of keeping these programs active.


Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, or other related fields.
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in the Human Resources field required
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including ADA, EEO, FMLA, Title VII, wage and hour laws, and benefits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite preferred
Ability to be flexible and agile in a rapidly growing company
Ability to take direction and execute with little supervision
Detail-oriented and ability to proofread policy documentation
Ability to navigate through difficult human resource situations
