Job Summary
A provider a variety of technology and support services to federal, state, and local agencies is filling a position for a Remote Human Resource Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Helping develop, implement, support, and review all HR department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems
- Refining of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process
- Developing and evaluating onboarding plans
Qualifications Include:
- 5 years (preferred) of experience as a Human Resources Specialist or other HR position
- Demonstrated strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development)
- Proven commitment to staying current on the understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proven exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail and decision making
- Ability to cultivate training and development programs
