Job Summary
A network of remarkable leaders is seeking a Remote Human Rights Chief Operating Officer in Oakland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating an agile strategic 1-year and 3-year plan and working with the Executive Team to implement it
- Co-managing the Executive Team with the CEO
- Supporting CEO in facilitating strategic engagement of the Board of Directors
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in organizational management at the Executive level
- Community economic development leader with an understanding of inclusive entrepreneurship and/or philanthropy
- Passion for addressing economic injustices, closing the racial wealth gap, and systems change
- Commitment and dedication to dismantling unjust systems with experience addressing bias and white dominant culture in the workplace
- Senior leader with proven success in managing an organization
- Exceptional capacity for managing and leading people
