Job Summary

A human rights non-profit organization has a current position open for a Remote Human Rights Legal Framework Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop a technical report on the issue of legal framework and legislation for returning FTFs including women and children
  • Help to understand the current legal framework of the Balkans and find weak points of their national legislation
  • Provide information on current legal situation in the issue of returning FTFs including women and children

Required Skills:

  • Individual Consultants are responsible for ensuring they have vaccinations/inoculations when travelling to certain countries
  • Master’s degree in law, social sciences, political sciences, international development, international relations or other related fields
  • At least five years in research and analysis of legal issues, legal systems and legal frameworks is required
  • At least two years in research on preventing violent extremism (PVE), radicalization and countering terrorism is required
  • Experience in designing and producing knowledge products in different formats is required
  • Experience with legal frameworks of the countries and territories in the Western Balkans
