Job Summary

To support a diverse student body, the part-time Remote Humanities Academic Specialist will teach humanities-focused high school and early-college courses, prioritizing candidates who can cover multiple subjects up to AP level and have Mandarin language skills.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct high school and early-college courses in humanities, including literature, history, and social studies
• Provide flexible scheduling options for classes, primarily during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
• Adapt teaching methods to support international students across various academic levels

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a top 30 US or Canadian college or university
• Strong interest in teaching and supporting international students
• Ability to cover multiple subjects, including AP-level courses
• Mandarin language skills preferred
