Job Summary
A digitally focused media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Humankind Producing Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Finding and researching compelling good news stories from around the country
- Writing and producing articles and video scripts
- Editing videos on programs including Adobe After Effects and Premiere
Qualifications for this position include:
- Degree in journalism, communication, film, or equivalent in experience and education. ·
- ·Five or more years of editorial experience (must have article writing, video package producing, and video script writing experience)
- Five or more years of digital video production experience (preferably in a television or digital newsroom)
- Excellent communications skills, online and in person, with the community and fellow journalists
- Works collaboratively with a passionate and highly motivated team of videographers, reporters, editors and producers
- All other requirements necessary for this position
