Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Remote Hyperspectral Data Pipeline Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Managing and organizing multiple parallel projects and priorities
- Leading and growing a distributed team of software engineers
- Leading work on a new processing pipeline
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years as a manager responsible for software engineers
- Proven track record of delivering project results on schedule
- A passion for Programming, Photography, Remote Sensing, Earth Sciences, and Geography
- Knowledge of how to scale code with cloud computing resources, e.g. AWS or GCP
- Experience with successfully engaging and collaborating with distributed teams
- 3+ years of experience writing software to manipulate geospatial data
