Job Summary

A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote IBM I Engineer III in Madison.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide IBM i Engineer Tier III support for 24x7x365 Managed Services
• Support installations, upgrades, configurations, and deployments of IBM Power Systems hardware
• Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency

Qualifications Include:

• Overnight travel between Client offices may be necessary (typically less than 5-10%)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 10 + years of experience with supporting IBM i Operating System environment
• Understanding of job flow and application programing concepts
• Strong decision-making and problem solving skills within required technology area
• Outstanding oral, written, and technical/business communication skills
