Job Summary
An IT and engineering services company has an open position for a Remote IBM Mainframe Support Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing technical solutions in production and plan test environments
- Solving tickets as they come in or escalated the tickets to the production team
- Responding to and handle; alerts, abends and phone support escalations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be willing and able to attend a 4 to 6 week training program in Washington DC prior to position changing to home based telecommute position
- 5 years practical and demonstrated experience
- Home environment, ability and discipline to work from home
- Strong verbal communication skills and solid documentation skills
- BA/BS/AA/Vocational in computer science or similar discipline or equivalent experience
