Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Remote ICD 10 Coder in Phoenix.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
• Review assessment to identify appropriate coding based on ICD10, CPT and CPTII coding guidelines
• Complete appropriate paperwork/documentation/system entry regarding claim/encounter information

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• Certified Medical Coder with high degree of competence in this area with 2 years’ experience
• Must hold current certification through the AAPC or American Health Information Management Association
