Job Summary
A global non-profit organization is filling a position for a Remote ICD MM for ICD 11 Update Implementation Consultant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review/compare the existing ICD-MM blue booklet to the final version
- Produce an initial revised version of the ICD-MM booklet with all edits clearly marked
- Gather expert and user feedback and generate summary document
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Advanced university medical degree (MD or MBBS in obstetrics or a related field)
- 5 years of work experience - proven experience of working with ICD maternal mortality codes
- Familiarity with ICD rules and classification procedures
- Knowledge of principal/key issues relating to maternal mortality in diverse settings
- Excellent, writing and editing skills in English, effective presentation and report-writing skills
- Ability to provide concrete technical and other advisory support
