Job Summary
A financial services company has an open position for a Remote IDI Financial Associate Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Applying sound, creative underwriting and business judgment in the analysis and evaluation of insurance risks
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with assigned field personnel
- Providing mentoring and training as appropriate based on job level and experience
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s in business
- 2 years’ progressively responsible experience with emphasis in underwriting or similar analytical capacity
- Perform math calculations including the use of algebraic formulas
- Express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications
- Strong customer service orientation, and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions and then utilize negotiation skills
