Remote Incident Response Security Engineer

Job Summary

A delivery platform is filling a position for a Remote Incident Response Security Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Respond to security incidents and strategize how to prevent the same type of incidents from reoccurring
• Actively monitor, analyze and correlate security event activity
• Prepare post-mortem reports of incidents and present findings to the broader security organization

Qualifications Include:

• 3+ years of combined experience as an incident commander, infrastructure engineer, or system administrator
• Significant exposure to incident response and familiarity with the phases involved in the incident response lifecycle
• Experience with a broad range of technologies including endpoint detection, network technologies, and SIEM
• Breadth of technical experience across various infrastructure and security areas
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, shell scripting)
