Job Summary

An online retailer is in need of a Remote Industry Solutions Senior Cloud Application Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Interacting with other AWS teams to integrate your solutions
  • Designing and delivering solutions that solve for new levels of complexity, scale and performance, and in turn, enable breakthrough innovations
  • Working with Technical and business leaders in the industries to plan, prioritization and delivery of complex industry use cases

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • 7+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP or Ruby * Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment
  • Blogging or writing technical articles or contributing to an open source project for new and existing technologies or application architecture and design
  • Presenting at public events such as technology conferences, hackathons, etc
  • AWS Associate or Professional certification
