Job Summary
A financial company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inforce Projections Variable Annuity Actuary.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage Variable Annuity inforce projections supporting all regulatory and business requirements
- Manage inforce projections for recently acquired business
- Work with consultants and other internal teams to convey the requirements and timelines for projections
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with focus on projections and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Statutory and U.S. GAAP valuation methodologies for Fixed Annuity products
- Actuarial Fellowship or Associate designation and Member American Academy of Actuaries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate complex actuarial topics to both actuaries and non-actuaries
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
