Job Summary
An IT and engineering firm is filling a position for a Remote Information Assurance and Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Joint Environmental Toolkit (JET) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program
- Supporting and patch fielded Sensor Collection Appliances (SCA), analyzing scans that come in from the fielded SCA sites
- Working with the Software team to maintain, enhance and test our SCA status tool as well as the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) distribution tool.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- BS (or equivalent), in engineering or related field and 2+ years' relevant experience
- Current CompTIA Sec+ certification
- Experience working in a team environment while fostering collaborative relationships among multiple vendors, scrum teams and client product owners
- Ability to effectively communicate cyber security and technical information
- Ability to support calls from the Help Desk to troubleshoot security issues in the field
- Ability to support program sustainment, information assurance and configuration control board meetings
