Remote Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

To support its information security program, the full-time Remote Information Security Analyst will manage and configure enterprise security systems, develop documentation and reports, and analyze security alerts to respond to potential incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize security tools while ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with teams to evaluate and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Respond to security incidents and support regular audits to identify and address vulnerabilities

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in a relevant field
• A minimum of four years of experience in information technology and information security
• Experience with enterprise information security systems
• Preferred experience in a higher education environment
• Information security certification (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, GIAC) is preferred but not required
