Job Summary

A software development firm has a current position open for a Remote Information Security Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect organizations' sensitive information
• Conduct periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability
• Constantly monitor their organization's networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
• Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• At least 5+ years of information security engineering/administration experience
• 3+ years of experience leading teams
• Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
