Job Summary
An information technology staffing company is filling a position for a Remote Information Security Network Engineer III.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Handling P1 - P2 tickets, managing changes, incidents and conference calls
- Proactively implement, update, maintain, manage, monitor, and support enterprise network and systems security operations infrastructure throughout the shared services environment
- Perform change control and device configuration management activities on all security hardware as assigned
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3 years + industry experience
- Heavy security background and experience
- Extensive knowledge of Checkpoint firewall and BlueCoat proxy
- Basic knowledge of the OSI networking model, TCP/IP protocols
- Basic knowledge of network security best practices, and Firewall administration, especially Check Point Firewall-1
- Tipping Point Intrusion Protection System or Sourcefire management and configuration experience
