Job Summary

A management consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Information Security Risk Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Applying experience with NIST special publications and FIPS
  • Assessing the entire threat landscape by reviewing technical, environmental, and personnel details
  • Engaging experience with Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) tools, including eMASS or RiskVision

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or IT
  • 10+ years of experience with IT or
  • 18+ years of experience with IT in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in performing annual security reviews in accordance with FISMA reporting
  • Experience in reviewing security requirements, recommending a mitigation strategy for deficiencies
