Job Summary
A liability insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Information Technology Desktop Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze Service Desk requests
- Establish and maintain technical standards for the end-user computing environment
- Assist the Cybersecurity team with establishing secure computing governance
Position Requirements Include:
- Knowledge of the National Institue of Standards and Technology (NIST) compliance standards
- Excellent understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and hygiene
- Extensive Microsoft operating system experience
- Extensive application packaging and deployment experience following industry best practices
- Scripting and automation experience
- Associate's degree in a technology-related major with five of relevant experience or seven years or more experience in desktop engineering and end-user support
