Job Summary

A software and service advisory firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Information Technology Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Facilitating communication between faculty, staff, vendors, and other technology resources
  • Providing strategic and tactical planning, budgeting planning and management
  • Overseeing all computer operations, including local area networks, wide-area networks, and database services

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • BA/BS Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical degree desired.
  • 8+ years of professional experience and 2+ years of management experience in higher education
  • Extensive working knowledge of Windows Servers, Windows Workstations, database software
  • Additional professional experience and/or technical certifications are desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of voice, video and data networking and their associated technologies
  • Knowledge of regulatory issues related to security per FERPA, HIPAA, PCI, HEOA and copyright laws
