Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee technical projects in alignment with organizational goals
Supervise a team of information engineers and administrators, while working closely with management and external vendors
Researching and recommending products and solutions that provide value to the organization
Lead efforts to improve IT policies, processes, and procedures
Assist other departments with implementing technology solutions to provide automation and reduce the complexity of current processes
Preparing financial budgets and presenting proposals for capital projects to senior executives
Own the process of provisioning, deploying, and maintaining all company-issued hardware for all employees. This includes all budgeting, purchasing, and logistics in the deployment of hardware to all employees
Continuously evaluate and improve employee on-boarding
Education:
BA/BS in systems administration or related field required
Experience:
7+ years of experience in information technology
3+ years of management/supervision experience
Real Estate industry experience strongly preferred
Extensive technical experience with deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure
Experience in setting up health monitoring and alerting to effectively oversee the system and to ensure maximum system uptime.
Experience in the deployment of a support ticketing system to increase support efficiency and ensure end-user needs are exceeded.
Experience in providing day-to-day oversight of IT infrastructure, VoIP phone system, network security, and outsourced vendor relationships.
Ability to develop and implement information security policies and procedures for many organizations in a wide range of industries
Ability to collaborate with the management team to identify strategic IT initiatives and facilitate the adoption of technology-based solutions.
Physical Demands:
Stands, walks, lifts and carries up to 30 pounds at one time, bends, turns, stoops, kneels, climbs, and uses many physical motions in performing day to day activities; finger dexterity, gripping, eye-hand coordination, visual acuity.
