Remote Information Technology Security Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company providing healthcare solutions has a current position open for a Remote Information Technology Security Controls Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Lead system owners and system ISSOs
• Assist in the development and stakeholder compliance
• Play an active role in the monitoring of systems

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Security field
• 3 years’ experience as an Information Systems Security Officer or similar role
• Understanding of the practical application of NIST 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls
• Strong project management skills
• Hands-on experience leading the creation and execution of Plans of Actions and Milestones
• Ability to create and implement security plans for information systems
