Job Summary
A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Information Technology Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Respond to tickets, resolve underlying issues, and document occurrences and solutions
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base
- Maintain user workstations with the latest software patches and anti-virus and anti-malware definitions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in an end-user-facing technical support role
- Proficient with operation and troubleshooting of Windows and macOS devices, iPads, and A/V equipment
- Advanced experience with wireless, wired, and VPN network connectivity
- Proficiency in enterprise security policies, access controls, and employee onboarding/offboarding
- Good understanding of internal helpdesk functionality
- Strong sense of discretion related to data and user privacy and security
