Job Summary
A software company is filling a position for a Remote Infrastructure Engineer in Boston.
Must be able to:
- Develop and maintain the platform that runs all of services
- Write and maintain cloud automation software and internal tools
- Champion best practices for building scalable and reliable services
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors and/or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Experience with UNIX systems administration including solid scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PHP
- Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible
- Experience running Docker containers in a variety of environments
- Experience building and running RESTful web services
- Experience building and running distributed cloud systems
