Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Infrastructure Operations Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Handling systems administration of Linux and Windows servers in hybrid data center environments with VMWare and AWS
  • Developing and maintaining automation where possible to eliminate manual processes to ensure maximum uptime
  • Writing tools and scripts to provide automation and self-services solutions for other teams

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years minimum systems administration experience Windows 2012/2019/Linux and networking fundamental
  • Knowledge of one or more hypervisor products (VMware ESX, Xen, HyperV, and more)
  • Knowledge of Windows Server components (Active Directory, DNS, etc.)
  • AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation scripts experience
  • The ability to independently research solutions to technical issues
  • The ability to document technical solutions
