Job Summary
A medical coding consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Inpatient and Outpatient Auditor.
Must be able to:
- Complete worksheets, spreadsheets and/or database entry based on audit findings
- Perform validation audits
- Follow and adhere to AHIMA's Standards of Ethical Coding
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of hospital-based, inpatient and outpatient coding experience
- RHIA, RHIT or CCS - active and in good standing with AHIMA
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital-based, inpatient and outpatient auditing experience
