Job Summary

A medical coding company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient and Outpatient HIM Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing coding for medical documents
  • Abstracting information and applying the appropriate codes
  • Communicating status of coding project

Qualifications Include:

  • Must have RHIA, RHIT, CCS and/or CPC with at least five (5) years of hospital coding experience
  • Exposure to various hospital EMR platforms and abstracting programs
  • highly-experienced, credentialed Remote Inpatient and Outpatient Coder
  • Candidates with ICD-10 training highly preferred
