Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Inpatient Care Management Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Working with groups of nurses and support staff to manage inpatient care utilization at a hospital
• Conducting inpatient bed day review
• Chairing periodic market oversight meetings

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Nurses may work telephonically or actually go onsite at specific hospitals
• Active, unrestricted Medical license
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty
• 2 years Quality Management experience
• 5 years clinical practice experience
