Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing all documentation in the medical record and assigns codes for all diagnoses, treatments, and procedures
- Accurately abstracting information from the medical records into the abstract system
- Consistently meeting all productivity and quality metrics
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS credential
- Minimum of 3 years inpatient coding and/or auditing experience
- Thorough knowledge of modifiers, HCPCS and denial handling
- Exceptional inpatient coding and surgery coding proficiency
