Job Summary

A healthcare system has a current position open for a Remote Inpatient Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing medical record documentation
  • Assigning appropriate ICD-10 codes
  • Ensuring coding accuracy

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year of acute coding experience required
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in HIM/Coding required
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCA at time of hire
  • Must obtain CIC or CCS within one year of hire
  • Weekend rotation is required
